The Black Funders Network

The Black Funders Network of the Bay Area enables Black philanthropy professionals to connect and grow, (re)energize, and align to best support Black communities and organizations. BFN is the only space in the Bay Area for Black philanthropic professionals to connect.

We are committed to seeing Black Bay Area and Northern California communities flourish

CREATE. SERVE. ALIGN. SUPPORT

There is an undeniable gap between Black philanthropy professionals and local resources. Until recently, there has been a lack of groups or services to cater to or offer support for Bay Area-based Black philanthropists.

We created Black Funders Network to provide a forum for our members to organize and align their philanthropic efforts and successfully secure financial and technical support to accomplish local missions that directly benefit Black people in Bay Area Black communities.
